Deviation Actions
Hey everyone!
For those of you following my work, and any new followers noticing a lack of any recent updates, I wanted to pass along the message that I'm not gone by any means. I left my old job a few months back for a better paying job, but lost my means of uploading anything to DA (I previously did all that from work, and DA is blocked at my new job). As I don't currently have internet at my house, I don't really have any means to upload new work here. I actually have a little bit of a backlog to upload once I get internet at my house.
Until then, do check out my Facebook at Instagram pages for any of my recent work! I love Instagram and keep it updated almost daily. I don't mean to drive traffic away from DA, but I have done some pretty neat things that I'd really like to show off here in some way!

Deadmau5 deviations are back
Pulled all of my Deadmau5 deviations back out of storage today since I needed to access some of the photos, but I felt like leaving them out. If I get any more abusive assholes making demands or any other kind of negativity on those deviations or in my notes, I'll just pull them back off DA. For context, I put them all in storage some time back because I received several comments and notes from people demanding I sell my stuff to them (not asking, demanding) and then would be verbally abusive (textually abusive?) to me when I declined. This seems to be the MO for a lot of Deadmau5 fans I've interacted with and continue to interact with on and off of DA, unfortunately, and is the sole reason why I stopped making Deadmau5 heads.
Escape from 2020
To say 2020 has been an absolute clusterfuck would be the understatement of the century. Regarding any sort of "bad events" one might normally incur in any given year - car accidents, medical issues, financial troubles, and the like - it's been a reasonably good year for me. It could be way worse, with the varied effects of the pandemic and the political unrest here in the US. So don't get me wrong... my life in actuality isn't crumbling around me, and I'm immensely thankful for that. Hell, I even got my dream car this year. But external things and lack of stressful personal life events aren't the whole picture of course. 2020 is proving to be mentally exhausting and emotionally destabilizing. And it's doing that for most people to some degree, which compounds the issue. We often seek our friends and family for solace, but when those people are under the same emotional duress, it feels selfish to seek their shoulder to cry on. Ughh... the new DeviantArt
Looks like there's no going back on the new DeviantArt. I've already accidentally deleted an entire user's art in my watch folder. And even on my GIGANTIC monitor, it seems like everything is far too large. It's like the website is literally bursting at the seams. Just absolutely fucking awful web design. Anyone jumping ship to another platform?
Deviations in Storage
I moved all my deadmau5 deviations into storage. I might bring them back at a later time, but I'm tired of receiving messages about them demanding I sell them, and the constant pestering when I refuse. Some of the messages I receive are even textbook abusive behavior, which is entirely unacceptable and the absolute fastest way to land on my banned user list. I hate having to move those deviations into storage (removing their availability from everyone else), but I'm tired of dealing with it and just want a break from the crazy people.
